Are there any other players out there that will play MOV files properly??? Quicktime 5 is just too 'bloated' for my P166 (im using Windows Media Player 6.4 as well), i need something that'll load faster and play movies smoothly...

    Anyting? thanks

AFAIK there isn't. The only alternative would be to run them through mov2avi and convert them to avi files.

Quicktime 5 isn't anywhere near as bloated as WMP.

WMP 6.4 is a good player (it's not bloated). WMP7 and RealPlayer are the worst though (RP more so).
However, I've always liked Quicktime. I don't know why, but I just do [IMG]

QT5/Sorenson 3 is the best codec out there for web movies

However, Nick, you're running into CPU barriers. That's the problem. You just don't have the horsepower for decompression
