Anyone else getting a delayed delivery notice from Amazon on this title?

Only seller I can find is BB.

Amazon doesn’t have it but they have it to buy from other sellers including DD.

There was some mention of some defective discs over in RAH's thread -- RAH himself seems to have encountered 2 separate defective discs.

FWIW, it's actually little bit cheaper direct from DD (plus there's currently a 15%-off coupon).

Interesting(?) though that nearly all the various local (enough) BBs seem to only have 1, at most 2 copies, left in-store...

Not only did I get a delay notice, but it was one of those dreaded "Please okay this unspecified delay for your order/we don't know when or if it is ever coming" messages.

Amazon could sure save us a lot of frustration if they'd just communicate better and tell us why it is delayed and give us a ballpark figure when to expect it.

Exact same experience I had to go through.

If there are defective discs I can understand and tolerate the delay.

But, very often these days, many of my Blu-ray titles come later than posted street date through Amazon.

So any updates on whether there's actually defective disc problem (beyond the usual isolated cases)?

I'd rather not order and then have to go thru a disc replacement program or the like w/ this...

If there's a "defective disc", it has to be equipment specific.

My theatrical 4K - played on a Sony 4K player through an LG OLED TV - worked flawlessly.

FWIW, Target apparently also added preorder availability for this and included it in their current B2G1 offer (though that latter might not last long given their track record on such) -- I just went ahead and preordered it w/ their B2G1 deal this morning...
