I believe you only have 2 currently available choices. The Yamaha 2300 (about $800) and the Denon 5900 (2k). Yamaha has a new s1500 coming out sometimes this summer ($399) that also fits the bill.

Actually, the correct answer is NO!
(note the last feature [in the subject line] that he is looking for)

Bad BM. Definately not adjust "adjustable" per request. Fixed 100hz with no delay/distance settings.

Wait 4/5 more months. There will be a half dozen models on the market that come close. Still no recording feature though. Your better off having a separate unit for recording anyway.

    Dean,
To expound further on what Rob stated, there are no current units that add recording capabilities in combination with their "Universal" player abilities. Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, and others have Faroudja, or Silicon Imaging, based systems that offer DVD-Video, DVD-A, and SACD capabilities and include bass management. But none to my knowledge add recording into that list of capabilities. Hopefully we are not too far away though.

Why is Faroudja a requirement? Silicon Image also makes an excellent deinterlacer...
