    Bond on DVD info

On one hand, I'm glad these are finally coming out. On the other hand, the fact that many Bond fans have to now re-purchase Die Another Day on DVD to buy the Box Set is disgusting... why didn't they release these with better timing, so that Die Another Day purchasers, who were many, could have the option of buying the box set then? This seems like money-grubbing of the highest order.[IMG]

Hopefully, OHMSS will have the 2 minutes of a certains scene reinstated!!!

Christmas is coming. Just use the extra DAD as a gift.

The only one I still want is "The Living Daylights." [IMG]

...as well as the subtitles for The Living Daylights.

I do hope these will be available separately as well. I don't plan on buying box sets for two titles I'm missing.

There were pictures that circulated the internet back in March of the two remaining box sets, and it was evident that DAD was in one of them. They were posted on this very forum here. The pictures may now be gone, but the films contained in the box sets are clearly detailed in post #3.

Looking at the new lists, it seems MGM decided to change up which discs are in which box set, but in both cases DAD was in one of them.

I certainly hope these titles are available for individual purchase without having to get the boxsets:

Included in Volume 1 are "Dr. No," "GoldenEye," "Goldfinger(already have it)," "License to Kill," "The Man With the Golden Gun," "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Tomorrow Never Dies."

Volume 2 includes "From Russia With Love," "You Only Live Twice," "Diamonds Are Forever," "Moonraker," "For Your Eyes Only," "The Living Daylights" and "The World Is Not Enough."

Volume 3 includes "Thunderball," "Octopussy," "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," "Die Another Day," "Live and Let Die" and "A View to a Kill."

Even if they are available separately I'm still torn as to whether I should get them or wait for the 5.1 versions being worked on. I had resisted getting any Bond movies until recently when I finally bought Goldfinger. If I see YOLT I'll snatch it up as well.

Well, for the first set the DVD's were availble seperately, so it will be most definite. Anyway, I dont have eight other Bonds, so that will be as much as buying a set, even more so.

Don't care about the cover art as I use Zinema's anyway complemented by Matt's for DAD, but I sure hope they fix OHMSS and provide an exchange as before. If no exchange, then they should make it available for purchase as a single disc.
