Since we've seen the release of "The Adams Chronicles," I wonder about another of my favorite PBS series from the 70's, "Alistair Cooke's America."

Does anyone have any knowledge of whether this will be released on DVD???

It's already been released in the UK (Region 2) on BBCDVD1582. I realise this might only frustrate you more if you don't have multi-region capability - but if you do, you might be able to import it. Here's a link to the Amazon (UK) page:
