Alison Krauss SACD question (1 Viewer)

Just curious if the Alison Krauss 'New Favorite' SACD is a hybrid. Just wondering because Circuit City has both that and the redbook listed on there website for $13.99

... not that have a SACD player yet, but with the some of the interesting titles supposedly coming out this year, (Garcia, Lennon?, Elvis?), I would definately take the plunge.

David, she's on the Rounder label. All their SACD's have been hybrids so far. NEW FAVORITE was their first M/C effort. So, it plays all 3 ways: CD, stereo SACD, and SACD M/C. It sounds good all 3 ways too. I'd call it one of the better SACD's out. Snag it! Best wishes!

David, circuitcity.com has great prices on some SACDs. I bought the New Favorite SACD from circuitcity.com for $13.99, and it is a hybrid disc. Note that circuitcity.com has some of the Universal SACDs for less than the corresponding CDs.
