Man, looking at that list, any lingering doubts about not double-dipping are well and truly dispelled! (OK, so I was 99.9% certain of getting this anyway, now there's no question )

Having said that, I see a listing for "Alien Legacy" on the bonus disc. Hasn't it been announced that this is NOT included in the R1 version? If so, this might make R2 the version of choice, if everything else is the same.

Wasn't the Alien Evolution documentary made for Channel 4 ?
Mark Kermode presented a doc on the series and I thought at the time that it looked like it had been made for eventual disc release. Isn't that the one ?

Looks amazing Chris! I would be curious to see a side-by-side comparison between the R1 and R2 features however. By the way, has anyone heard about R1 having DTS on all four films? Regardless, I'm looking forward to it!

I know this isn't much help a the moment, but the French set will have DTS for Alien, Aliens and Alien Resurrection; but the DTS will be of the French dub.

Still a must-have.

Cheapest I've seen the region 2 edition is £49.99 at Play.com and I don't really want to chance importing the region 1 edition in case I get levied with a customs charge - the box is gonna be pretty big and heavy.
