Read in a UK mag that the new Alien boxset will be released on r2 6th October. Apparently all movies will be remastered and Alien 3 will have a new cut (Finchers original cut i think) Alien Ressurection will have several scenes added including an alternative ending. The date has yet to be confirmed but it is the expected release date!
