This sure feels like family channel materialI know what you mean. But as the season evolved, the show turned out to be much more of a family story than I ever expected. A strange and dysfunctional family story, but that's what makes it interesting.
Maybe Disney/ABC is trying to shift the Family Channel away from its original emphasis. After all, they already have the Disney Channel for "family" viewing. Rebroadcasting Alias on a secondary cable channel is the same strategy that worked for Fox with their FX repeats of 24.
