    Will Sydney confront Sloane?

    Will Francie plot evil plots?

    Will Will show up?

Will Irina show her true colors?

Will Vaughn and Sydney "use to the oven" again tonight?

Will Jack start to trust Irina completely?

Will we get to see a wet, slow-motion, skimpy Jennifer Garner again?

    Can Christian Slater act?

    Will the prophecy be referenced?

Will it outrank Law and Order: Special Victims Intent?

Find out this and more tonight on a brand spanking new episode of

    Alias

The opening 12 minutes are setting the table for more spygame fun. Phase 2 is a go!

Hmm... I thought there were no more cliffhangers?

Dixon is definitely still K-Directorate [IMG] and that was a great episode. Congratulations on graduating Agent Bristow. [IMG] Boy, did that came out of nowhere. We still didn't get to see the ceremony thanks to Sloane. I think Marshall has finally won me over too with his performance tonight.

So how much do you think Ford paid for the zoom in on the Focus SVT emblem during the rush to the bank?

I noticed Ford is a sponsor for the show, so it was an eye-rolling move.

Marshall had me rolling. Finding out about the CIA tap because of role playing video games where his character was missing frames.

[IMG] I was disappointed by no shots of a barely dressed Sydney. [IMG]

    Otherwise, great show.

I had to think for a second.

Thought it was a very solid episode. It managed to be both transitional AND have actual things happen. I do like that Vaugh and Syd have not been thrown immediately into relationship hell, as so often happens on TV. I would, however, like to see their relationship explored and deepened.

The scene with Syd and her mom was very touching. Time will tell if Irina will keep her word. Jack surprised me as well - I was sure he would answer the opposite of what he did.

As others have noted, Marshall was a hoot. While I still think his death when kidnapped would have injected some tension and drama, I am glad he's around.

I'm not at all convinced that Dixon is K-Directorate. I think he's exactly as portrayed, and has a lot to deal with. Great to see Carl Lumbly getting some meaty scenes. He was wasted on MANTIS.

The product placement was VERY obvious and a bit annoying. However, I am very surprised no one has mentioned the nod to Raiders of the Lost Ark, re: Syd's airfield fight with the smuggler's minion.

Very suspenseful ending. I think Syd and Vaughn should have called Sloane's bluff. Sloane wants to live. I don't think he's willing to sacrifice himself.

Anyone else think that Sloane would have "in reality" just shot Vaughn and Syd? Without Syd, we can't have a show, so I understand story-external why Sloane didn't, but it seemed out of character for him to allow them BOTH to live.

I would of called Sloane's bluff. I didn't think he wanted to die.

Looking at scenes for the next alias, it looks like vaughn will ask for Dixon's help in retreiving sidney. It was good to have Marshall back and some screen time for Dixon.

Two weeks seems like a long time.....

I think that Sloane thinks that Sydney is his child, so he's really reticent to kill her unless she gives him no options left.

I really didn't think they'd write that propeller scene in that manner (good thing the blood went away from Sydney's direction - that'd be really gross).

Sloane has always been squirrelly about his attention to Sydney, and there has been speculation in the past that Sloane is Sydney's real father.
