Alias has kicked this sesason into full gear and has solidified it's position as one of the best spy shows ever and currently one of the best television shows on the tube as of now. Fans will miss Sydney and Co. for the next couple of weeks after next week as this is the 2nd to last episode before Alias goes on a holiday hiatus. Hopefully the next 2 will be up to par with the last 3. And for those wondering about the latest on everyone's favorite SpyMommy:

Now don't take this as set in stone gospel but I read on one of the various Alias forums that due to the conflicts with Lena Olin, Irina Derevko will be recast. They had the name of the actress but I opted not to read. I believe she will be reappearing in either the 11th or 12th episode (It's somewhere in the double digits [IMG] ). I absolutely abhor this decision if they don't write in an explanation as to why Irina does not look like Irina anymore (Maybe due to something Rambaldi?) I will abhor it even more. Lena Olin is Irina Derevko. They should have had a multi-year contract from the get-go.

Disregarding this news I have high hopes for the rest of the season and don't doubt they'll be met. J.J. seems to know what he's doing and have things more planned out than our old friend Mr. Carter. Here's to another rock solid episode of Alias!

And we're all agreed that Lauren is just plain smokin' right?

Just wait until next Sunday's episode, found a blurb on it in Entertainment Weekly: Will's back from Witness Protection and will be helping to find Allison, the Supa-Spy

Given Lena Olin's attitude, what else can they do? They offered her Sharon Stone money + perks, but she declined... such a big character can't stay on the sidelines forever.

    Ah...dammit, it's a cliffhanger!

Got to love the Matrix-like body rolling kicks.

So ... how about David Cronenberg's star turn tonight? Need more of his redhead, who I keep expecting to turn out to be related to the Covenant.

How badly did Sydney enjoy knocking the accent out of Lauren [IMG]

The dream/flashback sequences had a rather Kubrick feel to them. Gosh darn it, another cliffhanger!

    Tarantino last year, now Cronenberg.

Cronenberg was an inspired choice. Also, you can't go wrong with serial huggers and "fakon". [IMG]

As a parishoner at St. Aidan's Catholic Church, I am a little concerned about the recent dream developments. [IMG]

St. Aidan was the first bishop of Lindisfarne in the seventh century and his feast is celebrated on August 31. Of course, it could be the name of a place (churches, hospitals, etc.) or any number of things, so who knows?

    Regards,

Fantastic episode all the way around!

Glad the cliffhanger style made a come back. I do miss how they used to resolve the previous episode in the first 10 minutes before the credits of the next show. Different from any other show and I really hope it makes a comeback here.

    Actually,
Tarantino was season 1, Faye Dunaway was season 2, now Cronenberg for this season. [IMG]

ALIAS has has quite a large amount of large guest stars from time to time. I like it. [IMG]

Ive read J.J say that Irina is intregal to the story so what do you do when the actress gets greedy?
I must say, I am dying to know who it is now. Can you tell us the board?

Great show last night. Unfortunatly I missed next weeks preview.
So what does everyone think of the dream and what she was dreaming about?

    Question:
Wasn't the number on the room brough up in another episode? I forget. I know it has some significance...
