Nominate:

Talking With the Taxman About Poetry - Billy Bragg
Country Life (uncensored version) - Roxy Music

I vote for 64 at least. There's enough good ones to even go 128, which would be awesome.

That would be The Velvet Underground and Nico, which is already in. :)

And No Code has also already been seconded, which makes both of your seconds redundant, Brook. :p)

More really obvious trivia: The banana is by Andy Warhol, whose name appears on the cover, despite the fact that on the original version, the band's name did not. Andy Warhol is also responsible for the art and design of the Rolling Stones' album Sticky Fingers.

----

Something just occurred to me. When the voting starts and album art is posted, you need to be careful to ensure you've got the original artwork. There are a myriad of album covers that have been altered over the years, particularly as they began appearing on CD.

Second Candy-O by the Cars

I'll nominate Electric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix (not the cd cover you've all seen, but the original British cover with a bevy of topless women)

and

Disraeli Gears - Cream

Ok, since my 2nd's and a nom got shot down I'll try again

2nd Beastie Boys, License to Ill

Nominate Chicago IX (Greatest Hits I), Chicago

I think Chicago has as many greatest hits albums as they have original albums.
