    Anyone tweaked this set?

Can't even find the service menu to get in and improve it a bit.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

On the board you mention someone has managed to get the number needed to find out the code... but you have to be a professional to get it

I know there are some here on this board, perhaps one of them would be able to find out for us all?

    >>Sorry man, no dice. I can tell you who has it. 1.888.697.2247 is the number, but I can't get it out of them. They won't reveal it to an end user, only a repair guy. If you know any television repair guys, maybe they
    could call in for you.

well if the code in that link, which was for a 27" set, didn't pan out, you might want to keep in mind that Samsung makes TV's for Akai so if you can find the equivalent or other Samsung units, you can always run a google search on that model.

However, this model is not made by Samsung, but Hyunwoo, so Samsung codes are useless.
