Well, the titles referred to - Transformers, the Kubrick films and Blade Runner - are not barebones in HD. They are fully featured special editions which have HD supplements to boot. The fact is, the studios are getting their acts together with respect to HD content on disc.

That doesn't explain the fact that there are 22 HD titles in the top 100, though. It's not like the studios are just giving them away; obviously, there is a significant demand for the product.

Amazon does not reperesent HD's acutal market share. Amazon is where MOST early adopters are buying them from, but let's not forget that wal mart is still number one for buying dvd for the masses

There was an article recently about this... Best Buy is the #1 HDM retailer. Amazon, and everyone else is a distant 2nd. Wal-mart doesn't put out numbers but I doubt they're close to BBY either from what I've seen. They are only now starting to get into the game.
