My HT room doubles as a family room and until now we've done nothing in the way of HT-specific decorating. I'd like to start adding a few touches, though, and was wondering if anybody had found any lower-dollar sources for things like sconce lights, etc.?
The sites I've seen thus far are selling a variety of lights for $200-400 a pop, which I find ludicrous and would find ludicrous even if I was spending a ton of money on a state-of-the-art room. I seriously doubt that these are fixtures of some superb craftsmanship, but rather suspect that it's a classic case of elevated niche pricing that I prefer not to feed.
What things do you do to give your room a theater feel other than movie posters?
