Advice on mid-level Marantz receivers (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for advice on the Marantz lineup of non-THX receivers. The top of the line non-THX 7300 isn't completely out of the question, but if the 6300 or 5300 would work just as well I would rather go that route.

I want front jacks, so the 4300 is not being considered.

Any insight as to features, build quality, sound quality, etc. between their 3 mid-level receivers. I'm not going to be running top of the line speakers (will be either JBL Studio or Infinity Entra bookshelfs), so I don't need to completely overmatch my speakers w/the receiver.

Well, if you can afford the 6300, there is no reason to go for the 5300. The small increase in power will be worth it in the long run. Power between the 6300 and 7200 are nearly identical (I think the power supplies are different, though they are rated the same).

Between Infinity Entra and JBL Studio, get the JBLs.
