Advice on combi player compatable with my PJ (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I've been out of the loop and away for some time due to the whole "life" thing. I'm in need of a new DVD player and am going to upgrade to an HD format. I have no intention of getting on one bandwagon and losing out to the other so I'm looking for a combi player that will play both HD DVD and Blu-Ray. My projector (Sanyo PLV-Z2) has a DVI input and not HDMI as many of the players have. Here are my questions:

The Z2 does 720P pretty well and offers me 1080i as an option, will the HD DVD/Blu-Ray format work with this PJ?

Are there any players out there that will acommodate me with DVI?
