I’m in the process of looking for a high gain ALR screen and came upon the da lite parallax 2.3 gain screen
Now I heard the .8 parallax is more for ceiling light due to the wide horizontal half gain. Question is, is the 2.3 parallax screen better for side lighting due to its lower horizontal half gain? I can’t find much info about this screen anywhere
My room has windows on one side which of course are covered in light blocking vertical blinds, but some light still gets through. Ceiling I will have 2-3 feet of black velvet on ceiling in front of screen. I like a bright picture because I used to own a da lite high power 2.4 screen and this also made 3D pop very well. Going with a jvc rs1000 or rs2000. Thanks
Edit: the Seymour ambient visionaire silver 2.1 seems good to
