Hey gang, here's a quick tip for everybody to insure that you're not an idiot. Like me. When reconnecting speakers to your amp or receiver, and you're working in cramped quarters, make sure you've pulled the plug on your sub after you've powered off everything else. Otherwise, the y-connector from the receiver's sub pre-out might pop apart, and make an unholy racket at 4:30 in the morning. Hope I haven't caused any permanent damage, 'tho all appears to be in order at this moment; won't know for sure until I put the sub through its paces tomorrow with Chapter 1 of Disney's Atlantis, and others. Wish this wit a little luck. Cheers! DS.
