Adding a Dish721PVR (1 Viewer)

OK, I'm a little impatient and thinking seriously about not waiting for the "921 HD"model and adding a 721PVR. Here is the problem:
I need to add this unit into my existing system and keep my Dish 6000 for HDTV. How big a job is this going to be other than the obvious hassle of switching receivers every time I watch something in HD? Is this going to be a nightmare to configure and use? I have a second unit in the bedroom that I could upgrade, but if I understand the talk in this forum, I would have to view the recorded shows in the bedroom. No way to record on the bedroom unit and view in the HT room? Just as I thought.

Is this going to be a nightmare to configure and use?

I have a similar setup with DirecTV. For the majority of TV watching I use a DirecTivo and I also have an HD receiver for HD viewing.
