    Hey all,

I have been in the market for a good 3-channel amp for awhile, and came across the Adcom 5503. I have not come across very many reviews (Only 3 at audioreview) and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with this amp, or any other similar adcom amps.

Could you let me know your thoughts on the amp, and also how it sounds (Bright, warm etc..)

I am planning on using this to power might front soundstage, by the way, and I have Infinity Interludes all the way around.

    Thanks in advance!

Corey,I've had a Adcom GFA-7400 for about 6 months. It's 100 x 5. For the price Adcom is great,I'm really happy with mine.I use mine with a Denon 3802 as a pre.As far as sound goes,I would say it's a hair to the bright side compared with the Denon on it's own.

Actually the 2/3 channel adcoms are warmer than the 5 channel adcoms due to the use or MOSFET output devices compared to bi-polars(on the 5 channel ones). So I think you will still have the warm sound with the 5503.
