Adaptiod for Xbox (1 Viewer)

I mentioned this in another thread, but does anyone know if it'd be possible to make an adaptiod like device for the Xbox controllers? Since they're based on a USB standard, it should just be a matter of writing the drivers and making a suitable adapter, correct? If they could do it for the N64, then why not for the Xbox?

XBox has special chips to prevent just such an occurance. Whether or not they can be bypassed is another question

Nice! Wouldn't it be cheaper though to just get an extension cable to sacrifice rather than a whole controller? Might just have to try this one out for myself...
