It's an old article, but I didn't see it mentioned here yet. It looks like they're going the way of the double dip with this release, although they are at least being upfront about it. Can't wait to see the extra "movie" either

I figured this was gonna happen. The trailer has so many more scenes that you never see in the film, such as Ron taking a bullet for Veronica.

I HOPE they get thir way. I would LOVE another 2 hours of new material - and I think with the current box office take this could be possible.

I would definitely double dip if they had a rebate coupon. I loved this movie. Its too soon to make a decision about holding off or not. Though, when i look at all the other movies I'll be buying this winter, I might have to.

Interesting. IMDb has Wake Up, Ron Burgundy listed, too. Neato. Since I enjoyed the "actual" movie, odds are I'll enjoy this compilation of deleted scenes aiming to pass for a DTV sequel.

so everyone knows by now that the wake up ron burgundy is for sale the same time as the regular version.
in fact it is twin packed with the unrated version.

i'm watching the unrated version now.
the commentary is a riot.
it just consists mostly of wil and i think adam mckay just cursing as much as possible.
they dont even mention anything about the movie for at least 10 minutes.
all they do is try to curse as many different ways as they can.

strange thing is that it is censored.
most of the time the f-word is used it is bleeped, but not everytime.
and another wordCOCK
is also censored(bleeped).
not complaining, just making an observation.

this is a weird commentary.
twenty minutes in andy richter shows up on the commentary for some reason. then paul rudd calls in to talk too.
apparently there are other surprise guests later on.
i wont give them away.

How is the twin-pack packaged? Just two Amarays shrinkwrapped together? Or is there a case that holds them both?

depends on how the retailer ordered it.
either 2 amarys togther on top of each other or side by side.

Mine just shipped today. I want to know if the Wake Up Ron Burgandy is actually a coherant movie or just random deleted scenes. Either way its a great bonus for a couple of dollars more. Anchorman was a fun, silly way to spend a couple of hours.

i havent seen anything on a slipcase but best buy will have a bonus dvd with ocver 30 minutes more, on pack.
not sure if it is just the 1 dvd or the 2 dvd set tho'.

the Best Buy disc is with the single-disc version, so I'm assuming it's stuff from the second disc.
