And could a mod please edit the typo in the thread's title? My apologies...
"How do I look?" "Like shit, boss." "Your mama..." Too young, Chuck
No, not Capt. Terrell and Lt. Traxler! R.I.P.
My favorite films of his were Sounder, Twilights Last Gleaming and The Terminator. Crawdaddy
Shakka when the walls fell RIP
You beat me to it Jon. Sorry to hear about Mr. Winfield. He was a favorite of mine! RIP Paul.
Nice to see a reference to the role I most identify with Paul. I had forgotten that he did some Trek as well. Jason
He will be missed. Shakka, indeed.
RIP Lt Traxler
If I'm thinking straight, my favorite of his performances was as the judge in Presumed Innocent. He was fabulous, and the way he would mockingly say Mr. DEE-LAYguardia's name was just awesome. Very sad to see him go.
Wow I'd completely forgotten "Presumed Innocent". Now there's a relatively forgotten movie! Great performance by Winfield that I still remember from my single theatrical (or any other) viewing of that film back in...what 1992? RIP Mr. Winfield. -Dennis
Isaac Twine on Wiseguy in 1989.
I actually remember him most for his role as music producer Isaac Twine in the 80's TV show "Wiseguy", with Ken Wahl and Patti D'Arbanville. Oops, Jim just beat me to it.
Mr. Winfield also played Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the made for television biopic "King". He will be missed, truly a wonderful actor.
I forgot that he was on the Simpsons! I hope they do a tribute to him in a future episode. They've done this for other guest voices who passed away.
Not to mention General Richard Franklin on Babylon 5 - GROPOS.
AGREED, great role. He also did that narrating on A&E's City Confidential a great show about crimes, mostly murders in small rural towns. Great Show check it out. RIP
