Sad News For Lois & Clark Fans
We are sad to share with you some bad news... we have received an e-mail telling us that well-loved actor Lane Smith, who played "Perry White" for all four seasons of the 1990's Superman TV series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, has been diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, and that this is a very rough time for him.
The family of Lane Smith would appreciate any and all prayers that could be sent his way. Additionally, any fans who would like to send cards, well wishes, grettings and that sort of thing, we are working on getting a fan mail address to post, as they would surely lift his spirits and let him know that even ten years after Lois & Clark, his work is still appreciated by his fans. (And of course there are those who loved him from V for twenty years!) Until then, you are all invited to post your wishes for Lane on the KryptonSite L&C Message Board and we'll see about sending them in his direction.
