Acoustically transparent projector screens, Love-em, Hate-em, Why? (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to decide, go with the above mentioned acoustically transparent screen and put the center speaker behind it or use a non-acoustically transparent screen and put the center speaker below it.

If I went the acoustically transparent route, why or why not put all three speakers (L/C/R) behind it?

So figuring that I'm not alone in this decision, I thought I'd ask, what your experience was.

Make sure you check out whether your projector will work well with a perforated screen. Some projectors will show a moire pattern from the combination of the perforations and the projected image.
