Acoustic research hi-res or HTD level III speakers ... opinions ... (1 Viewer)

I was considering the Level 3 bookshelfs and center speaker. I was also considering the Acoustic research hi-res line, specifically the ar17 bookshelfs with the AR2c (the one with the 6.5" woofer and 2 5.25" mids) as the center. What do you guys think. Both setups would cost about the same. Need some opinions especially on the hi-res series as I can't find anyne that carries them here in central Iowa. Thanks for the help.

I have the Hi-Res and I love them and short of Electrostats
I wouldn't buy anything else. Of course this is just my opinion.
Check www.acoustic-research.com to find a dealer in your
area.
FWIW I am sure the HTD is also a good setup.
