Has anyone experimented with this yet? I was wondering if this only tames peaks or does it also boost dips in frequency? The Behringer FD has been recommended to me on this forum, but the SOS does seem to be more user friendly. I'm not opposed to trying the BFD--was just curious about the SOS...

I've got one. Call it the lazy man's approach to taming the peak. Unfortunately, it only tames the worst peak, not multiple like the BFD can. But as far as ease of use, you can't beat it. Comes with it's own microphone and everything. I got it because I did not want another large piece of gear lying around.

Thanks Lee. My bass is a little strong in the 50-63 Hz region. It is relatively flat above and below this point. Not sure whether to try the SOS or BFD...

Well, what does a BFD cost? The SOS is $300.00 plus shipping.
