    Hello all,

I'm very much a newbie to Home theatre. I'm planning on upgrading the equipment my parents had because they're getting pretty old. However, they have a pair of front speakers (Tannoy Sixes 609) and a pair of rear speakers (Tannoy too, but unsure of the model) that I wish to keep. The question is, I'm planning to get 5.1 so I'm getting a Centre speaker and also a subwoofer. The Polk CSi3 is something I'm considering. What do you all think? Is it a good centre speaker and will it match my old Tannoy speakers? Much Thanks!

I always prefer speakers from the same range / brand or at least with the same 'sound color'. I would go for a Tannoy from the same series as your fronts (if that is possible) or one of it's successors. I'm not familiar with polk, so I can't help you with that.
