That’s my honest to god favorite track on the album. I’d gladly pay for a disc like that.
It's one of my favorite Beatles songs period. It's silly, weird and fun.

An even crazier opinion, I'd be happy if I never hear Come Together ever again. I never really liked the song to begin with but that Aerosmith cover just made me hate it in all incarnations.

Well, not much surprise this was coming out. I kind of think the real question here is will they do “Let it Be” next year.

While I really dislike the practice of putting the real goodies (like hi-Rez 5.1 versions) exclusively on the most expensive packages, it’s a real opportunity to include the “Let it Be” movie. Could be a very big hook.

Well, we know it’s being remastered to be released simultaneously with Peter Jackson’s new Let It Be documentary next year, so if it’s not in the 50th anniversary album package, it would almost certainly be included with the new film on dvd and blu-ray.

I’ve not heard of this project.

@Mike Frezon is gonna get this for me for Christmas, right?! :D

I think the pertinent question is...will Mike be getting this for himself this Christmas?!?

Abbey Road isn't a favorite...but I sure have enjoyed the other 5.1 mixes of the first two projects. Probably, if I can get the same kind of awesome deal I got on the White Album.

The Hosts of the Fab 4 Free 4 All Podcast was invited to a recording studio in NYC to preview some of the tracks. The hosts seemed to like what they did with the Atmos mix and although it is obvious that they aren't as well versed in home theater as we are, the system they listened to the Atmos mix on was definitely more than 7.1.4.

"Well, we kind of had a feeling last year that this was going to happen, didn’t we? But it didn’t make it any less fun or exciting! On September 27, 2019, the Beatles’ Apple Corps Ltd. and Universal Music will release a boxed set deluxe anniversary edition of ‘Abbey Road’. On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, The Fab 4 Free 4 All crew was invited to a New York studio to hear choice pieces from the upcoming release. And, as we’ve been with the last two releases, we were psyched! We couldn’t get to a diner afterwards, but while the experience was still fresh in our minds, we managed (despite some interesting interruptions from Mitch’s GPS!) to record a show about our experience, and our thoughts on some of the new remixes and bonus material, on the car ride back to our secret underground lair. We would like to thank our friends at Universal Music for the incredible opportunity to get a sneak peek at what will definitely be a fantastic year-end package, the 50th anniversary deluxe box set edition of ‘Abbey Road’."

Maybe one of you Beatles-ologists can answer this but can they do box sets for the earlier Beatles records? I'm sure they can't do a 5 CD set for Please, Please Me but are there enough outtakes and alternates still existing that they could do a 2 or 3 disc set? I guess what I'm asking is, will there be 60th or so anniversary releases for PPM to Revolver? :)
