Abandon OAR (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what the OAR of Abandon is?
I received the disc as a gift and after opening I found that it was the full screen version vs the widescreen version. I can't exchange as Best Buy does not consider it to be defective. Any help would be appreciated.

david that was my first thought also.

keith if you didnt open it most circuit city stores will except an even exchange for the wide version.
most stores will even best buy normally.
try wal-mart too.

only if it's not open.

If the cover says widescreen but the disc inside is pan and scan then you have a legitimate claim for a return regardless if it's open.

Yes, IMDB says 2.35, but the back of the case on the widescreen version says 1.85?! And I noticed during the opening credits of the full screen version that it appears to be 2.35. This kind of thing is frustrating.

I have the WS DVD and it definitely is 2.35:1.

On the back of my cover there's no mention of the AR at all, it only says "widescreen version enhanced for 16:9 TVs".

Oops, you're right. DVD Empire has it listed as 1.85. Maybe that's where I got the idea.
