A2 remote with A1 (1 Viewer)

I know it's too early for anyone to know this for sure, but what if the new A2's remote worked with the A1. I mean as bad as the A1's remote was, would you be interested in purchasing the new A2 remote as a replacement?

Just interested in everyone's thoughts.

Wouldn't be easier to just snag a Harmony in your price range? It can run everything and has plenty of backlighting.
