The BBFC has classified the whole first series of 'A Very Peculiar Practice'.

This is long overdue for a home video release, not having been released before in the UK. (Shocking when you consider it was one of the best dramas of the 80's).

D'oh - I've misspelt the heading!

Found this nosing about the 'net on The British Archive Television Forum

We will hopefully be including A Very Polish Practice as a bonus disc with series 2 of VPP. We are still researching and costing extras for the series but the pictures have already been restored. We have had to replace a couple of music tracks where permission to use them for a video release has been denied. This is something we can't do anything about and is a common problem in the video industry. However, replacing is better than removing.
It's well worth popping over and having a read - lots of questions and answers from Network on their upcoming British DVD releases from the Goodies to Catweazle to The Sweeney.

And of course, the actual forum covers all British television DVD releases.
