Any chance ESPN will release this on DVD?

It hasn't even aired on ESPN yet.

Nor has the "sanitized" version aired on ESPN2.

    Wait awhile.

Geez, it's not like I'm asking about Star wars Ep. III--the damn thing airs in two days...not two years.

    Just forget it.

Yeah, that was kind of a "dick" reponse by Rutger. Cmon. This is ESPN's first major motion picture, and the guy is asking whether we think it will be released on DVD. That is a totally reasonable question. If he were asking the DVD release date of Terminator 3 or Bad Boys 2 or something, then, yeah, it would be kind of ridiculous.

I hope this movie is good and eventually released on DVD.

    Regards,

    Dan

    Sorry about that terse response.

This is ESPN's first television film and could see the light of day possibly on DVD. But it has not aired yet. So just awhile for it.

I read an article at, I believe, Yahoo! News the other day about this movie. The article said it will be released on video and DVD in time for Christmas.

Being the first film for ESPN, and they certainly have the finances for it, I seriously doubt this wouldn't find its way to DVD.
