Doesn't ESPN NFL have an option to have the CPU finish out a game? I thought I had read that it did, but last night I couldn't find the option. If it's possible, how do you do it? It'd certainly be handy when the game is a blowout & there is no chance of a different outcome.

Also, is there any penalty for changing the difficulty level midway through a season?

    Thanks,
    Dave

There are two ways to finish out a game. The first would be to just move your controller into the CPU position during the game. You could then watch the two CPU opponents finish the game out.

There is also a Simulate to End option that you can choose. This will simulate the game to the finish and give you a final score. It can be found from the Pause menu and then by choosing Quit.

    Hope this helps!
