Hi everybody,
I just picked up the DVD-1600 by Denon this week. I think that it is a great player for the money.
Anyhow, while reading through the manual I came across two items that I don't understand. First: what exactly does the 'cinema' mode do to the picture? The manual is not clear on this. Second: there is a setting for a 'lighter' or 'darker' picture setting. The 'lighter' setting is supposed to be used while using an S-Video cable while the 'darker' setting should be used with a component connection. What is the player doing and why?
Thanks!
Dave
