A Question of About Axiom versus Energy (1 Viewer)

Here's my idea. Please tell me if I'm nuts. I currently have a pair of Energy e:XL-25s and a e:XL-C center channel. I like the speakers, but I'm thinking of replacing them with Axiom M3tis and VP-100.

What would I be missing out on? I'm about to order an SVS 25-31 subwoofer, so bass response isn't an issue. The smaller Axioms would not visually dominate my condo living room like the floor-standing e:XL-25s. But am I giving up or gaining something sound wise?

To be honest, there isn't a "compelling" reason to do any of this. I'm just in the midst of a case of upgraditis and in the mood to do something for myself. (I'm a single dad. There is no WAF at work here.) Strangely, if I determine that the M22ti is necessary to make the trade worthwhile, I don't think I'll do it.
