As stated in an earlier post, I need to run an equalizer for my vintage front left and right speakers. Could I take the preamp outputs for the front left and right of a Pioneer 1014, route them to the equalizer, and then to a separate stereo amp, for instance the Onkyo M-282 ? If configured this way would it affect any of the Dolby surround Sound or other digital effects, and why ??

I don't see why it wouldn't be alright.
I don't think the MCCAC auto calibration would work though.
It might but I can't verify it MCCAC controlls the preouts in the same way as it's internal ampifier
