    Guys,
Maybe the card sharks of the bunch can help me out with this one. [IMG]
Toward the end of the movie when the guys are at the lodge with the "municipal" workers, both the cop and Worm himself refer to his dealing mistake as "catching a hanger". I know Worm was base dealing, but what was the mistake that tipped the cop off? What exactly does that mean, to catch a hanger?

As I understand it, he basically slipped up while he was dealing, and missed the smooth motion you need to get away with it

Yeah- he was dealing from the bottom of the deck, and caught a card which "hung up" and did not come off the bottom cleanly, making it obvious he was cheating.

    Thanks guys,
I guess I was trying to make it more complicated than it was. I just thought there might me some special definition to the term.

GREAT flick man. I watch it pretty often. Probably the most watched of all my DVDs actually. Edward Norton is a great actor!
I play cards quite a bit and I think you have to hold the deck a little differently to deal off the bottom, not sure though. That may have been what the cop saw.... Then again, I'd think that if you had to hold the cards differently then you'd always be spotted for dealing off the bottom.
Man, it always annoys me when Worm walks in that room and ruins Mike's mojo, just like it should [IMG]
