There was a thread a while back that turned into a discussion about IGN, but the poster was asking for suggestions as to GOOD gaming review sites on the web.
This is my favorite, both for the quality of the writing and the relatively non-squishy level of the ratings (too many sites just gush over games that turn out to be complete shit when you play them).
Only thing I don't like about it is they don't update it enough. Other than that, its tops. Check it out:
