    You should use www.pricegrabber.com or www.dealtime.com also. I know thatthe Pioneer VSX-D710S can be had for $220 at etronics. I own(2 weeks) the 710s, pretty good so far, no complaints. Still getting rest of equipment(no sub yet).

    the prices i got were from there web pages so i am sure that a lower price is out there question howcon people mark a price down ir the manufactor is asking a higher one???? this is something i would like to know

    The manufacturer is not asking that price from the wholesaler or distributor--just suggesting it--usually known as MSRP-manufacturer's suggested RETAIL price.

    The actual price the retailer pays is X % lower.

    hi david did you look at yamaha yet you can get a rx-v1 top of the line for about $1100 0r $1200 and it will be a lot better than the ones you have on your list here is a web site that haves reviews from real people for the rx-v1 http://www.autioreview.com/reviews/A...ct_45542.shtml at least read some of the reviews for the price it is a real good deal you will find out , thank you ,joe
