I just watched a DVD of Minnelli's A MATTER OF TIME here in Europe. It was titled NINA. It was anamorphic and 1.66 and seemingly restored. ( not one scratch or blemish). IMDB list's the running time as 98 minutes. The PAL DVD...which is always sped up ...ran 98 minutes. Which would indicate it is actually longer than that.

Is this an previously unseen version?

I was at a friend of mines in Milan. It was DVD with a detailed brochure in Italian.

It had an Italian, English and Spanish track.

Clearly work had been done on it and it was 16X9.

The DVD is from A&R productions. Aren't they considered a bootleg company? I have the Amazon "exclusive" MOD of the film and it looks very good and is indeed 16x9 anamorphic. The running time is 97 minutes and I suspect the A&R transfer might have been taken from that.

I never saw the cover of the disc. I have no idea what the source was. If it is PAL...then there is a speedup..hence my puzzlement.
