A little question (re: aspect ratios)....

    This might be insignificant to some...but I wanted to ask something. If a movie is a series of movies, should it be the same exact ratio as the before movies?

    Traditionally yes, but it's not set in stone

    For example, Blade 2 is 1.85:1 compared to the original's 2.35:1, while Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 are the opposite.

    And Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2, Beverly Hills Cop and Beverly Hills Cop 2, and many many others. Many are done for budgetary reasons, many for artisitic. And some have different directors. [​IMG]

    I can’t see any reason for using the same aspect ratios, any more than using the same actors (e.g. Bond), the same directors, the same composers or anything else.
