I have a simple question about the HTML "SELECT" and "OPTION" tags. I have a drop-down box with several names in it. In addition to selecting a particular name with his mouse, I would like the user to be able to type part of a name into the box and have the matching name selected automatically.

For example, if the list contains the names Bob, Earl, Lester, and Lewis, I would like Lester to be automatically selected as soon as the user types "L," or Lewis if he types "LEW."

As it is now, it just selects based on the first letter. If he types "L," Lester is selected but it moves to Earl if he then types "E."

Any way to change this behavior? Thanks.
