I just rented this disc because of this thread.

I have to say that I thought the attack scene was very well done technically. Quite impressive.

So far so good, 20 people who liked the film. I'll tell ya I never thought it would go THAT far!:)

I bashed this film a lot when it came out. I then took the advice of many people and actually watched it and I liked it. Was it the greatest War film ever? Nope, not by a longshot, but I felt that Bay did a pretty good job of not dishonoring the Veterans and Victims of Pearl Harbor. I was also happy to see that many of the survivors liked the film. I am looking forward to the Director's Cut to be released and I will add to my collection, along with the Theatrical Cut.
