okay, so rumor has it we're getting it in january...judging from http:[email protected]
Simple and nice. I am looking forward to it.
Heck yes! Best movie of the year by far. In fact, I'm willing to go as far as to say that it's the best movie of the past 2-3 years... Here's hoping for a LOADED DVD.
Me want now, can't wait till 2002!
If only I had a dollar theater near my house, I'd see it for a 3rd time in the theaters.

Yet another guy waiting anxiously for this flick! I will buy it sight unseen...despite some bad reviews...Spielberg, androids,, the future, H.J. Osmot all in a movie cannot be all that bad...
p.s....I would have sworn it was a DreamnWorks film...oh well....

Is that a Warner Logo on that KEEPCASE, or is that just a figment of my imagination?
This is Awesome!
My guess is that that isn't the actual case... You'll notice in the disclaimer "THIS SITE IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH ANY ENTITY INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION OF THIS FILM." I think it's just a case of some fans taking the previously released front cover art, and making a sidebar in photoshop, and using perspective filters to twist the pieces into a box. And even if I'm wrong about it being a fake, it's still (AFAIK) a Dreamworks DVD... you'll notice that the Dreamworks logo is on the bottom. Also, if Warner Bros. was putting out the disc, they'd probably make it part of their Stanley Kubrick line.
P.S. I also, am psyched for this movie. For me, it was one of the few standouts in a drab summer.
My DVD Collection
The whois lookup does not return anything ostensibly associated with DreamWorks or Warner. Then again, there were a bazillion movie-related web sites set up for this movie months prior to it being released.
Bottom line, I am looking forward to the DVD.
I enjoyed this movie very much. In a summer that had more "F " movies then "A" movie's , it was a breath of fresh air. My friend that went with me to see it thought it was a total wast of time, but he thought Planet Of The Apes was a "A" movie.AHHH.......I will egerly await this dvd.
Looks very nice. I can't wait.
This film got some staggeringly hostile reviews all around, and some extremely positive ones...it's that kind of film.
I cannot wait for this one!
He thought on homeland, the big timber, the air thin and chill all the year long. Tulip poplars so big through the trunk they put you in mind of locomotives set on end. He thought of getting home and building him a cabin on Cold Mountain so high that not a soul but the nighthawks passing across the clouds in autumn could hear his sad cry. Of living a life so quiet he would not need ears. And if Ada would go with him, there might be the hope, so far off in the distance he did not even really see it, that in time his despair might be honed off to a point so fine and thin that it would be nearly the same as vanishing.
-- Charles Frazier, Cold Mountain
Another "can't wait" for me!
I'll be all over this one when it's officially announced.
Welcome aboard the Satellite of Love
That's not the actual case.
I'll probably be camping out at the store the night before so I can get it while it's still hot from the stock boy's warm sweaty hands. I've become borderline fanatic about this movie because of the game (in some parts refered to as The Beast) that was used to promote this movie. In fact, I just recently received some nice props from the movie: a Flesh Fair Security jacket (black with embroidered art on the back and front left pocket), some Newbucks (one of each denomination), and a Puppet Masters poster from the special screening (I already had several that I actually got at the screening though, heehee). The novel of The Beast, when it eventually gets published, and the DVD will be very, VERY nice additions to my growing A.I. collection.
I also will be eagarly anticipating this DVD. Very excited.
"What if he honks in the car?"
"I'm giving you a no honk guaruntee."
That cover is simple and cool!
If DREAMWORKS is holding the U.S domestic DVD distribution rights of this film, and given SIGANTURE COLLECTION treatment...something is missing from the cover art.
The artwork looks more like what we are going to expect from R4 release.
This will be an awesome DVD. Also, if your into DVD-Audio, the soundtrack was released in this format a couple of weeks ago. I picked it up on Friday and it's a really good mix.
