The Bone Collector from Universal is (at least to me) an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Reviews were not stellar at the time of release. Mr. Washington and Ms Jolie make the film. The new Blu-ray, which I'll presume is based upon the same transfer as the HD disc, released in 2006, is quite good. Universal seemed to be pushing for quality with the HD product, and it carries over nicely to BD. No problems here. Quality image and audio, derived from what appears to be an IP. Very good thriller. Image - 4 Audio - 5 Recommended. RAH

I thought it evolved into a very involving murder mystery, and I have enjoyed returning to the DVD several times over the years since its initial release.
