...although 'DVD' seems a bit harsh. Overall I liked it. According to screencaps, this version is only approached by the remastered UK Studio Canal Blu ray.

I think Lucas style revisionism is pushing it a bit. The colors are finally back close to what they were originaly, before it hit video with changes that have been implemented since.

Regarding digital "fixes", you must realize every frame of the film has all it's elements separated by hand using computers, to make the 3D happen. If one of those elements is the crew visible in the shot, or a clearly apparent in 4K rubber mask on a stuntman face, it would be crazy to let them in the shot. You have to fix them, just as you create new elements in the picture to make the 3D happen, to improve the immersion experience without distractions.
