The recently released Classic Flix Blu-ray, working with the Library and Congress and the BFI, is a huge step up from previous PD fodder. So much so that one can readily forget at times that this is not a studio licensed product.
Resolution makes for very pleasant imagery, although grain seems a bit shy. Black levels are good, and rarely encroach upon middle tones. The image is stable, nicely cleaned, and overall extremely acceptable.
Wonderful pre-war Capra-corn that delights to this day.
