Although Olive's new Signature Edition of Bound is derived from a "New High-Definition digital restoration," whatever that is, it looks much similar to Olive's original Blu-ray, for which there were no apologies necessary. It was, and remains, a beautiful Blu-ray.

Like the earlier Olive Signature releases, the reason for fans to upgrade to this one - for those who don't own it, this is obviously the one to acquire - is a beautifully produced compendium of extras.

And there are many, both commentaries, as well as featurettes.

For those unaware, this was the first film to come from the Wachowskis.

Definitely worth a look, especially if you're a fan of modern noir.

Amazon is now selling this Blu-ray for $17.99! I never did upgrade that 1997 DVD so I jumped on that price. I've read the audio commentary is awesome.

Yes, the audio commentary from the original Laserdisc release is a lot of fun. Lots of good info, and love when Tilly shows up.

17.99 is a great price for the Limited Olive Signature BLU.
